Dr. Tim Deatrick Tim and his wife Lisa are the proud parents of Ryan, Lauren, and Shannon. When Tim is not serving at church, you can find him reading, spending time with his family, or watching his kids at an extra-curricular event at Waukee High School. His favorite verse is found in Psalm 37:4-5, which says, “Take delight in the Lord, and he will give you your heart’s desires. Commit everything you do to the Lord. Trust him, and he will help you.” Brent Clark Brent Clark joined the staff of Ashworth Road in July of 2007. A Brent and his wife Kerri have three children, Hannah, Luke and Jaden. In his spare time, Brent enjoys relaxing with his family, reading and working on computers. His favorite verse is Jeremiah 29:11-13 which says, " 'For I know the plans I have for you,' declares the LORD, 'plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future. Then you will call upon me and come and pray to me, and I will listen to you. You will seek me and find me when you seek me with all your heart.' " Susan Healy Susan Healy began serving as our children’s director in November, 2006. She grew up in Virginia, California, Connecticut, and Minnesota. She holds a B.S. Degree in Elementary Education from Central College in Pella, Iowa, and a M.S. Degree in Education from Drake University in Des Moines, Iowa. Susan is a Reading Recovery teacher in the West Des Moines Community School District. She enjoys serving at church and has been involved with both youth and children’s ministries. She loves working with children and helping them learn and grow in their faith. When she is not teaching, Susan enjoys spending time with family and friends, reading, exercising and traveling. Her favorite scripture passage is Proverbs 3:5-6: “Trust in the LORD with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight.”Bobbie Fontenot Bobbie Fontenot began serving as the Ashworth Road Baptist Church Preschool Director June 2008 after being a teacher in the preschool since 2001. She grew up in Baton Rouge, Louisiana and moved to Iowa in 1997. Bobbi now considers Iowa her home. After several years of working in banking and finance she found her true passion - working with children. She is very active at her church in both the children’s and high school ministries. Bobbi carries certifications in CPR, First Aid, and Mandatory Child Abuse. She is also certified for the position by the State of Iowa. Bobbie and her husband Scott have two daughters, Jordyn and Ashley who attend school in West Des Moines. When she is not at the preschool she enjoys being outside, biking, traveling, and reading. Bobbi’s favorite verse is found in Romans 8:28 which says, “And we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love him, who have been called according to his purpose.” Kathi Wooderson Kathi Wooderson started as office manager in July of 2003. She is a native of Missouri and graduated from Missouri State University in Springfield, with a degree in Elementary Education & Special Education. In 2000, after 24 years, Kathi retired from teaching when she and her husband, Steve, moved to Iowa . Kathi and Steve have been members of ARBC since 2001. They have three grown daughters, Sarah Cotant, Hannah Wooderson and Leah Dussold. When not at the church, Kathi volunteers at the Multiple Sclerosis Society and spends time at home reading and gardening.
