Ashworth Road Baptist Church
Children's Ministry
Purpose
The purpose of the Children’s Ministry at Ashworth Road Baptist church can be found in Mark 10:14. Jesus said, "Let the little children come to me, and do not hinder them, for the kingdom of God belongs to such as these.” Our children’s ministry is based on three simples truths.
- Jesus saw the importance of children even when His disciples couldn’t.
- All children are important to God.
- We need to build strong foundations of faith in the lives of children.
Even the youngest ones in our community are important to God. Foundations of faith are built through weekly Sunday School, TeamKID meetings, Sunday night Mission Kids, along with monthly fellowship activities and annual events.
